Early Access Review
At first, I thought this game was not user-friendly. They tell nothing, say nothing about what the item is on the crafting list. And then, after playing for, or running for, 10 hours, I found out that it was my fault for not trying to do new things. It became very clear after I found out that you could pick up stones, hit small bushes for sticks or punch down a tree. Zombies were meant to be clubbed to death not punched to death. They don't tell you a few small info such as cooking meat with a stick as a cooking tool. I never did until my friend told me. I had them boiled after finding a cooking pot.

Zombies are actually not a laughing matter in this game. Unless you are a peaceful guy with peaceful settings, every night is a horror. Flying hornets, infected canines, wall crawling spider zombies that crawls after you at an amazing speed and keeps looking at you with its pale and somewhat glowing face, fat police that has become a boomer with self destruct ability and of course, normal zombies. Worst of all, they run at night. They are slow in day(to be more precise, under sufficient light levels). This game really did grasp the apocalyptic fear of getting eaten by zombies. While in daylight, Z's look a bit funny, silvery skin and blank eyes. But the real thing is in night. With lighting effects, they seem to actually see me through their eyes, making me feel a bit uneasy. Additional silvery face makes them look grim and emotionless.

Most zombie survival games seems to be more of pvp while this game really gives you no break after sunset, provided that you are not on an insane mode which makes you more occupied in survival. Preparation is required to survive the night. Considering that you would need an average in game hour to get to a good scavenge location and another hour returning home, you would have approximately only 12 hours to do things in day light on general settings.

The worst thing about the zombies is that they break anything. People used to Minecraft, be aware. Walls are not invincible. Concrete, iron, name a block, they break it. Floating buildings are impossible, without proper pillars or walls to support the weight, it will collapse. There is even the amount of weight a block can sustain, meaning that building an enormous sized house is impossible. To make things worse, some buildings have very weak roofs, I once hid up on a roof and my character's weight caused the roof to fall in.

Plenty of resources though, but it will never be enough. Food is quite abundant. Canned, wild fruits, farms and wild animals are found in the game. Guns come in loaded catridges, but most are not strong to take down Z's without headshots.

There are biomes and even biome specified resources are found. For some regions, items are more abundant but more hostile Z's will be spawned.

In overall, this game is great. I had some issues with this game but considering its alpha state and none of them were critical, this game is worth your money, especially with the sale going on.
