In the 1850s and 1860s, some people in England believed that riding trains could cause a mental disorder called "railway madness", with symptoms like screaming, leaning out of windows, and even attacking fellow passengers, according to Trains.

As the 19th century progressed, the supposed curse of "railway madness" began to fade away, only to be replaced by a new phenomenon: "cat boy madness". Today, people are more likely to be driven mad by the allure of being cowgirl ridden by siamese furry anthro cats, calling out for mercy as they're lassoed by the whims of their feline overlords.

I woke up one day to find my balls missing.
