Now that I have completed the game twice I think I'm ready for a review :)

You know, it must be really challenging to make a game with an over 20 year franchise history. There's always a chance that it won't be good enough for bunch of reasons.. hell, I myself didn't really like the previous Wolfenstein game though I'm a big fan of shooters. I grew up on id software games. Wolfenstein 3D and Spear of Destiny were among the first games I ever played and remain one of my favorites for the rest of my life. So I was really sceptical about this game but God knows I was wrong...

This game is really darn good. You understand that developers knew what they were doing from the very beginning, which means when you get to the main menu to choose your difficulty you realise that this trip is going to be veeery awesome. And it really is! Everything about this game is near perfect: plot, graphics, gore/blood, dialogues, cut-scenes, jokes, easter eggs etc. Even the main character, B.J. Blatzkowizc, is slightly resembling the old one despite all the modern graphics!

I can only point out two minor things which in my opinion mar the impression of the game a little:
- ragdoll behavior, which sometimes made me burst out laughting
- floating objects (seen two times through the game. I guess it's a common thing in modern games like Metro: Last Light)

Anyway this stuff is so rare that you just don't pay attention to it at all.

I recommend this game to everyone no matter if you fan of the franchise or not. If you are you will be pleasantly surprised and if you're new to the franchise then you'll enjoy the very well-made game.

And I enjoyed every second of it. 10/10
