In my previous review of the game when it was still in early access I praised Astroneer for being an already complete feeling title even though it was in it's alpha stage at the time.

The full game has been released a little while back now and though quite a few things have been changed during it's developement it still doesn't feel like it's finished. It's actually still quite buggy, especially when playing online with friends. I hate to say it but I get the sense it got a bit rushed out the door near the end of it's developement, and I get why having seen Noclip's documentary.

Yet I would still like to recommend this little planet explorer, mostly because of its sereen style which keeps me coming back when I just want to wander around for a bit under the stars, collecting resources and trying to build a shuttle to reach said stars.
I do hope the devs aren't done with Astroneer after what happened with their friend and colleage and keep improving on what they have and adding to it, like a more streamlined toolset, better deformation control and little things like way markers, not to mention bug fixes.
