@Scott: The game will certainly be longer, lol. (It's currently in Early Access - which means it's NOT finished yet. I'm telling you this just so you know / in case you weren't informed.)

In the in latest media update, the devs even talked about the length of upcoming chapters, which is something to your liking. Check it out.

Without Xen, I can't call this half-life 1, without the ending it is just a shell waiting to be filled, and I can't reccomend purchasing an empty shell with the hope that someday it might not be empty.
