I'm definitely a fan of the Atomic Universe now, and can't wait for the future games.

I loved how unique this game feels. The graphics are impressive and the gameplay is really good.

I'm obsessed with this universe. It's an alternative-historical timeline where the Soviet Union is still alive and very powerful. You're in a region where soviet scientists built multiple research facilities for developing different technologies. The plot is really good and this game leaves you with a cliff hanger. I can't wait for the 2nd game.

While the combat is fun, I don't think it's perfect. When you upgrade things by mid-game it gets even more fun being able to use your cool abilities.

There's also issue with late-game bugs for me. It was really bad, and I killed at least 5 sessions because of it, but other than that I had no issues with the game.

Fun game.

I love the combat and story in this game. Story? In a DOOM game? It's actually pretty good and doesn't take away from gameplay at all. The weapons are amazing, the enemies are so unique, and there's a lot more diversity than any other DOOM game. The graphics are amazing. Everything is so beautiful with my specs, I can crank everything up.

I really love the difference in this DOOM game from traditional boomer shooters. The Boomer Shooter genre needs innovation, and while I don't think this is exactly what's needed or wanted, it's innovation nonetheless. Hopefully indies see this and get some motivation and ideas to twist things up. Can't wait to see how everything goes forwards

The only major shortcoming I see is probably the difficulty but you can make things even harder on your own anyways in the difficulty settings so that's no issue for me. I beat it on highest difficulty, the game gets easier if you 100% each level as you go and get all the upgrades. I was afraid to crank up the difficulty manually, because you can essentially make it almost too hard to beat. I felt Nightmare was the perfect difficulty. It wasn't too much of an issue and you want to fix it, like I said, crank it up yourself.

One of the best games I've ever played.

It's so realistic and immersive to medieval times. There is no equal. There's so much content, if you want to do everything and not just rush the main story. You can easily make this a 300 hour game if you take your time. Much less if you want to do the story. Maybe 50-70 hours for the main quest?

The combat isn't perfect, but I love it. It is an acquired taste and gets easier with time. So you will struggle in the beginning but it's worth your time. You may come across the occasional glitch bug, but nothing game breaking.

They need to fix the bugs. Major pathing issues. My normal review before the bugs still stands aside from these issues:

One of the greatest RTS games of all time.

I really love the extremely unique systems in this game. The Pantheons, the unique Favor resource, the myth units vs normal units dynamic, and the campaign.

I really don't like the lack of civs/pantheons. At the time of writing this, there are only the 4 Pantheons; Greeks, Egyptians, Norse, and Atlanteans. I really feel this game needs 10. I know that's a lot, but it's what I personally like.

It's just an amazingly addicting gameplay experience and masterclass in game innovation.

Game is very unbalanced in 2nd level.

The enemies drop what I think looks like gold. As you go through harder enemies, I think there needs to be more gold that drops or a 25% chance to drop more gold.

The weapons are too weak and this game has you kiting around the map way too much as compared to Vampire Survivors. It would be fun if there were utility items.

As of right now there are only weapons you can get. Nothing that gives you speed boost, passive heals, or some other neat thing like extended pickup rate. These shouldn't count towards weapon slots either.

I hope the dev fixes this issue. And this game has the potential to be something good in this new sub-genre we're calling Survival Roguelike? Survival bullet hell?
