No marketing, no trailers, nothing until the day it was shadowdropped. The only reason I'm even aware of its existence is because of how much it was called a step-up compared to a certain game that came out in the same timeframe. And if you can believe it, they were right. I can't recommend this game enough.

Hi-Fi RUSH is a shining example of how you don't need cutting edge visuals to be a good game, a unique artstyle and fun gameplay is all you really need. The rhythm-based action is satisfying to play, and the cast is goofy yet loveable, and doesn't come off as cringey. It's reminiscent of early-2000's games in that the devs wanted to strike their own style to stand out above the rest, be it in gameplay or artsyle. Tango managed to do both, and did so flawlessly.
