As a long time Borderlands fan, I expected a lot from this game. I was not disappointed. I've played it on PS5 and PC, enjoying playing on both. The new equivalence to Badass rank is a little annoying, since you have to beat the plot to start using them, but other than that, it feels very much like a Borderlands game (I've played a chunk of the Tiny Tina's Wonderland game and I have been a bit disappointed). The story is pretty good, the controls are familiar, the humor is still there. I am not the biggest fan of the playable characters as I was for 1 and 2. I love Fl4k due to the variety of animal companion options and his dialogue. Zane is kinda funny. I've recently started to play as Amara, and I've briefly played as Moze. I've never been a huge fan of playing as sirens in the first place, so that's more on my preference than the actual gameplay overall. I completed the dlc before the plot line, so I ended up very overleveled by the end of the main story, so that was kind of annoying. I also played some of the DLC in an order that ended up being kinda weird (like out of order time wise) but otherwise, it was mostly enjoyable. I have not finished the one with Axton and Salvadore.

Great way to pass the time, especially while watching tv/youtube. mildly frustrating at times, especially at the start. but been playing it for ages. runs much better here on steam than on my mobile devices.

I'm excited to see what happens when this leaves early access. I loved the first game once I got used to it. I had to play this one in small doses because the new controls and features threw me off, but now I can play for hours. I love Ana Larvie and the slight amount of customization you can do for your characters. I'm not impressed with the commando class, but I wasn't much more impressed with it for KF1. The medic is much better than before, however.
I can't wait for more classes to be added.
The new boss is terrifying, all of the other zeds are super creepified. And the fact that doors don't respawn makes it much more tactical-based and less "well, get a support specialist and we'll hold up in this hallway *coughcoughbioticslabcoughcough*.
I like that the current maps are reminiscent of some of the KF1 maps. Similar layouts in some parts and the same general feeling, but much more complex. I upgraded my graphics card just so I could play this bad boy.
It can be hard to get into servers with people in it, but I bet that will change once it gets out of early access.
