Somehow this review ended up among english reviews lol (changed it to russian manually tho)
So, about the villains: I felt like there is no personal connection between Ichi and Bryce. Maybe I don't get something, but the only character who had some sort of closure at the end of Palekana ark was Chitose.
As for Kiryu's arc, I did see a conflict of interests here, but for me it just wasn't as impactful as in the other games of the franchise. Every other yakuza game (5, 6 and Gaiden especially) ended with an epic and emotional standoffs, but LAD8 just felt... I dunno, empty?
Maybe it's due to the fact that RGGS developed such a huge game during the pandemic, or maybe I simply didn't understand the plot.
Anyway, I do appreciate your input
