Is the game good? It's meh. Is the remaster good? It's... meh. While I did notice the changes in lighting in the early levels, the game still looks and plays exactly like its 2011 release. It still has janky level geometry of the original game, it still has weapon models from 2011 and it still has the problem of subtitles being unsynched with the words. They even kept those ugly 480p cinematics. And somehow all of this has a file size FIVE TIMES MORE than the original game.

TL;DR: buy only if you want achievements
