I don't really get the enthusiasm around this game. It's definitely around combat, but this combat is not particularly interesting and not much else is in this game. A lot of grinding and not that much development (at least within the part that I experienced before I got bored)

Saying that there's not much else to the game other than combat tells me you didn't play the game enough or just didn't pay any attention at all

The base weapon aspects are very button-mashy, which leads to a lot of monotonous dash-strike spam. This is especially true with Fists, Shield, and Sword.

However, the alternate weapon aspects are really fun, because they require interplay between all aspects of your moveset. Something like Aspect of Chiron, for instance, requires you to use all moves - Attack, Special, Cast, and Dash - in order to maximize damage.

Totally understand dropping the game, the grindy bit definitely sucks, but I would still encourage you to at least check out some videos of what the other aspects look like. For instance, Tailesque's Aspect of Rama run is really cool.
