Broken game that is frankly bloated in the worst way.

careful planning and decision making means nothing now. The game rail roads you into things that it doesn't explain or things that cannot be avoided.

just had several hours of a playthrough ruined by a civil war that cannot be avoided whilst at 95% stability the whole time and majority support for my faction.

civil war fires and they take basically the entire military at a small corner of the USA. i move my remaining troops to block and one by one every other state joins them and spawns troops.

basically just nuked my game with ZERO way of stopping it even though i prepared. I prepared by building a military which the other side just TOOK AWAY FROM ME!

i had max stability, the senate and the house, 80% faction support. why did it delete my army then?

i had ZERO warning where it would spawn or when, ZERO ways of stopping it.

honestly used to love this game. might be my last time playing now.

serious F*** off with your BS game paradox, you have ruined it! I shouldn't have to watch videos explaining how to META my way out of or through an event chain.

- Made weed that turns people's skin black and their hair ginger.
- had my dealers push it on the entire town.
- Sat back and vibed to meth cooking and tunes for a few days.
- went outside and entire town is black and ginger.

10/10 game.

Endless fun. love it!

Not ready to be released! could be a great game, but at current it's barely functional. Very clunky and balance is way off on a lot of features. there's no variety in builds or strategy. every settlement feels like the same just in a different location. there's way to make a place feel unique and special.

I have to say the game is great to look at, and the bones are there for a great game to be made off of. For a game that is made by a single person, its incredible! really cannot stress that enough! but, he needs to take the cash from it's success and employ others to help him drive this home, and quickly! if this game sits in near current state for too long, it'll leave a bad taste and kill the enthusiasm people have for it.

Don't buy it yet, but keep an eye on it. could be a great game.

tried again again much later and its basically the same. Recent game was completely cricked by crash after crash after crash. I have given up.

play CK2, give this a miss.

this is confusing, has less depth. it has a flashy appearance, but you will often find yourself paused for long periods of time trying to find out just what the hell is going on!

dont like it, keep your money!

Needs serious improvements!

The forest 1 was brand new and exciting. this isn't. its the same game as before with less in it.

Massive map but its all empty. its just a running simulator. i explored and explored. found nothing! just some empty golf carts. no loot.

a cave marked on the GPS was just a tiny alcove with 4 crates inside. thats it!

Virginia turned up day one. flashed her crotch at me and then ran away.... arent i supposed to be here to rescue her? why cant i do anything to interact with her?

where is everything? I ran for literally an hour from one site to another. just golf carts with no loot.

its early access, sure. but it also first impressions too! and the first impression is honestly terrible!

Its just the forest 1 with a bigger map and less to do... if this was a DLC i would be disappointed! not a sequel 10 years in the making...

Okay, so i i hated this game during early access. i said it was a con and a rip off.

well..... it has released i have have gone back to it.

wow! so much better!

much much better! 100% recommend.

after all this time. it's still broken. losing characters for no reason it just resets. lag at the home screen and just plain ♥♥♥♥ that should be fixed by now! all well and good adding 'new' content, but fix game play issues.
