Someone complained about my original post, as I hadn't finished the game yet, but said I was immensely bored. This fact remains after finishing. This was more like a visual novel than an actual game, except no porn involved (from what I read, that's what usually happens in visual novels). Music's...meh, animation's average. There's really no gameplay though, outside of actually moving the character around. It's mostly reading.

To each their own then :) Planescape Torment is a great game indeed but I feel that To The Moon also offers a good story. And I have no problem with VNs so a "game" like To The Moon is still good in my book.

The story sucked, though. You want a good storytelling experience that's still a game? Planescape Torment. At no point in TTM was I invested in the characters.

Well, To The Moon's strong point is it's story. I agree it is not a game, it is a storytelling experience.
