This was my first experience playing Halo, and though I respect the series as a very important pioneer in console FPS gaming, there is still a lot to be desired...

The pros:

- really nice graphics
- pretty good sound design
- some character customisation options are creative
- the vehicles work well on larger maps

The cons:

- gameplay might be great for a console game, but it feels slow and uninspired on mouse&keyboard (though my favourite FPS is Titanfall 2 so it's a harsh competition)
- the weapon variety is... well it isn't
- the way melee works is clunky
- the optimisation is dogsh*t
- levels take more than a minute to load
- the level design itself is BORING compared to something like Destiny 2
- i thought this game will show me the 2010s Xbox Live experience, but there is a strict chat filter
