Beautiful locals and haunting music, truly makes you feel you're alone in the Appalachians. The lore taking place the first 15 years after the bombs dropped, will take you through every emotion.

As a live-service, your forced to micro-manage every aspect of your progress. The vats system changed to a real time mechanic. Action points are harder to maintain. Stealth play is touchy until you obtain the proper gear.

The improved "new player" experience is dismal. Being a ghoul adds little to the game, other than that sweet feral unarmed melee bonus.

The main story is short, leaving you feeling lost. There are one-off side quests leaving dailies/weeklies/ops and events to gain experience and caps. Seasonal events and the seasonal scoreboards are hit-or-miss ( I enjoy them ).

The best stuff is hidden behind a sub, such as solo play and the scrap box - a god send to smooth out building and repairs. A major breaking point for most gamers.

I can't recommend this game to most people, including the diehard Fallout fans. It's a niche game, for a niche group of gamers.
