Aquila Command Battleship

This is a Big bird, 22,500 blox, 33,000 tons. At this size it's going to be an art piece, not your main ship.

The structure of the armor is a bit interesting. It uses a layered armor strategy. The outer layer is cheap, shiny light armor that will absorb incidental damage, this covers the heavy armor which is the ship's primary defense.

I did go a little beyond what I absolutely required by way of mods, but I think the result is agreeable.

Overall the ship is a bit MEH but it's a popular design so I decided to do the refit just to serve the design's fans.

This is the biggest overhaul I've brought to completion.

This ship is modded, I think the number of mods is reasonable but might not be suitable for some uses.

Update: revisited the refit, fixed a few things such as conveyor support to the aft reactor, and a number of other improvments, most major of which is I pressurized the upper catwalk so the ship now has a single pressurized volume, instead of forward, aft and the two "low areas". The original is now awol so I didn't have a reference. Also, considering switching to S-modular thrusters instead of the two XL mods I'm using.
