Urag the Sleepy

A Few More Features in Winterhold
10 items
Description
Adds a bed for Urag gro-Shub, the librarian who lives in the Arcanaeum in the College of Winterhold. He sleeps every night from 11pm until 6am. If you wake him up he still has all the usual dialogue and trade options.

The bed matches the style of the Arch-Mage's bed in the room above him. It belongs to Urag, so only he can sleep on it.

I moved the chair that normally takes up that space to the foot of the bed, next to the book table, and moved one of the fur rugs a little bit so the bed wasn't sitting on it. I also tweaked the navmesh so NPCs will not get stuck on the new/repositioned furniture.

Useful for immersion and also pretty handy if you happen to be a vampire living in the Arch-Mage's quarters...

Also works well with Arcanaeum Book Cases by Jøkerine, as Urag going to bed gives you a nice quiet opportunity to steal the key and loot the Arcanaeum.

It was actually the Unofficial Skyrim Patch that makes him sleep in the Hall of Countenance.

From the version history at AFK Mods:

> "Urag gro-Shub has a sleep package that was never assigned. The package has been added and directed to the unused room in the Hall of Countenance. (Bug #12140)"

I just assumed he didn't want to waste time sleeping, so the mug you see him with a lot is full of coffee...:-)

Maybe, XO. There have been one or two patches to Skyrim since I stopped modding it. I know that at the time I made the mod Urag gro-Shub's AI package didn't include ever leaving the Arcanaeum or sleeping.

He sleeps in the hall of countenance doesn't he? I've seen him sleeping in the first bed in the right

Yay! Urag has finally a bed to sleep in! No more sleeping in that chair for him.
For your next Mod, create a Housecarl for Winterhold, place him in the Jarl's Longhouse, name him "Jayred Ice-Veins." He can wear the same armor that the other Housecarls wear, but wields a steel battleaxe, instead of your average steel sword and shield.

nice mod but a bit too trivial for my tastes
