2. Introduction
Welcome to my mod "The Tides". Just straight away: This is the first mod I have uploaded so far. I've done quite a few mods before, but only for my own purpose. So please don't hate :D I'm looking forward to recieve constructive feedback on improvement on my mod and suggestions for further mods I may make.

3. Mod description
This mod offers a set of new apparel and a weapon. They have lava, ice and lighning textures on them and corresponding magical effects. I was inspired by Phenomic's game Spellforce 2 where you could wear equipment of "The Tides" as an elemental mage. Unfortunately, I don't know if:
a) Skyrim allows animated texture on armour like it was the case in Spellforce 2
b) I'll be able to mod it if it's possible.
So for now I'm satisfied with what I've done so far ;-) There are unique enchants on those new items (which can't be disenchanted >:-) ) and two additional effects if you wear the whole set of "The Tides".

Currently I only tested the effects in a lvl 1 environment on master difficulty and the effects were ridiculosly overpowered. However, I plan to add a quest (or maybe multiple) to get access to the items.

Acquisition is currently still with console commands as I don't know yet how I exactly want to get the things going on.
Either search for the items using

help "Tides" 4
and then
player.additem theIDshownNextToTheName theAmountYouWishToAdd

Or

coc ctest
then pick up the items lying on the floor
coc whiterun (or wherever you'd like to go)

4. Item descriptions
"Robe of the Tides" is apparently a robe, originating from monk robes, with the following enchantments:
Fortify Magicka Regen 150%
Fortify Health Regen 50%
Magic Resist 25%

"Crown of the Tides" is a circlet with the following enchants:
Fortify Destruction 30%
Your fire, frost and shock spells are 5% stronger (similar to the perk of the corresponding element)

"Heartstone of the Tides" is an anmulet with following enchantments:
Fortify Destruction 15%
Fire Resist 25%
Frost Resist 25%
Shock Resist 25%

"Seal of the Tides" is a ring with following enchantments:
Fortify Magicka 50
Your fire, frost and shock spells are 10% stronger (stacks with the crown's and perks' effect)

"Cepter of the Tides" is a Staff with following effects
All targets in a 15 yard radius of the impact location burn for 20 fire damage over 5 seconds, suffer 7.5 ice damage over 10 seconds and 50 shock damage instantly. (Frost and Shock damage also damages stamina/magicka as normal destruction spells)

"Set of the Tides" is an invisible effect you gain when wearing all 5 parts of "The Tides"
Your fire, frost and shock spells are 25% stronger (totaling in 40% stronger spells without perks)
As soon as you enter combat you are surrounded by an elemental cloak that does 5 points of fire, frost and shock damage per second. (Like the poison cloak from the ebony mail)

5. Known Bugs
Currently, the Seal's and the Crown's effect are shown in red in the active effects menu. They work fine however. It's just an optical bug. I don't have a clue on how to fix it though. Spent hours on searching for a solution...

6. Incompatible Mods
None are known so far. Actually, none should conflict with my mod as I only added stuff. I suspect that there might be a problem with mods that change the skin mesh/textures of Males/Females. Please report incompatible Mods. The Nude Females mod by Thepal works just fine though (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/70)

7. Thanks
I'd like to thank Bethesda for Skyrim and the Creation Kit, Phenomic for inspiration and anyone who will make this mod better in future by giving me constructive feedback.

I've always really liked this mod, although I don't play Elder Scrolls V or the Skyrim games anymore, I really like this mod! I think it needs more attention to most people.

Ah. I can probably look into the texture stuff since I did it for another game before. Well a few other games lol. Mind if I look at recoloring your's to see how it looks? Not in game just with the one program I use.

Honestly, I don't even know anymore how I did that :D I once was into modding (textures) but that stuff is too complex to remember if you don't do it often. But I guess there are guides ;) I modded other things though; mostly for my own pleasure (i.e. revamping vampires before Dawnguard, enable silver smithing, left- and righthanded rings and so on...
