Taffys on Maerdy Branch Part 2

Description
You are taking a 56xx with a loaded train of coal back down the Gradient towards Porth where your journey will end.

Be extremely careful going down the gradients, please use a mixture of Vacuum and the Brake Van & wagon handbrakes as well.

BR Green Diesels are starting to make an apperance now on the line, which is a sure sign of the coming modernisation plan. Although quite a lot of pre-nationalisation wagons are still dotted about.

All Signals should clear on approach to them. If they do not press Tab to pass them. Duration : 25 mins Difficulty : Medium

Very welcome. Always glad to give advice/ help.

Be free to ask for any of my scenarios uploaded under my name, or the ones from the Pioneer programe as well.

I think the MidHants J94 which started life in the modelled blue livery which I nostalically remember travelling on has now been rebuilt as "Thomas" (which I also get pulled by along with grandchildren! Thanks...as ever...for the helpful advice.

Thank you and glad you enjoyed.

On the F3 or F4 hud option, you should see a buckeye coulping logo, Click that then you get the whole train visble. Find the brake van, should be last one or first one and click the little disk bit beneath it. Select that then the handbrake is on.

The BR ones hopefully arn't to long away. For Thomas we ideally need a LB&SCR E1

Thanks. This is a trully realistic scenario. Even the weather is bang on! Just a few questions...is there really a Guard Van Brake? If so...how do you apply it...and in TS 2013 has the opening tool box got the chop? Roll on the immenint arrival of BR J94's as the Longmoor Military Railway one is a bit far from home..and has now become Thomas the Tank!

No worries at all.

They are challenging to use as you have to remember the cyclinder cocks for the locomotive. As soon as get in the habbit of it you will enjoy the locomotive a lot more.

Im sure you will be fine also if need help re scenarios etc be free to ask.

to the writer of this scenario my appologies for my conduct just a lonely old man who is still trying to get used to being on his own after 33 years marriage . i have finally conquered both of these scenarios find them challenging especially after blowing the cylinder covers off after failing to open the cylinder cocks after stoppijng and waiting for the cross with the pass in pt1 robmerlo
