FoTS RBL 100pdr Armstrong Siege Gun

This Mod Simply makes The RBL 100pdr Armstrong Seacoast Artillery as an Recruitable Unit.
Note: Fixed Artillery.
Stats
Range : 1000
Cost : 3000
Building Requirement : Arsenal

Its Like bringing Long Range Naval Support into the Battliefield. Note The Very Limited Campaign Map range - they are not easy to carry through the Land...

I Know, that this configuration isnt the most practical Siege Gun...I made them since there is demand for such monstrosities like this Cannon...Field Parrotts and Armstrongs on Field Carriages are far more mobile and poweful enough...most of the time...

Hey, I love the idea of this mod but the game always freezes than crashes as soon as the cannons start firing

@Slize I tried your fix, it didn't work for me. I first tried 10 particle number and even lowered the particle number to 2 and it looked the same in-game, still crashing at roughly the same time. Did you do anything else? First time using RPFM so might have missed something

dont know if anyone still care about this mod, but i think its amazing to look at and i found a fix for it.
Step 1. Open RPFM and go to projectiles_explosion_tables
Step 2. Under particle number its says "30", change to 10, i tryed 15 and it would crash sometimes, but 10 seems to work.
Step 3. Go to projectiles_tables
Step 4. Under lunch audio, it says "Boom", change that to "gun" (same sound as EU cannon).
Step 5. Profit
Why does it work?
i dunno... seems to be a combo of an audio bug and way to many particles happening at the same time. But with this fix you still get the mushroom cloud from the impact without the crash ^^

i dont no if it was because i had 20 of those cannons in one battle

Sadly, the crash still occurs. Zoomed out, the problem seemed to disappear. then I zoomed in on the cannon and as soon as the smoke from the barrels came into view and started to billow, it crashed.

Interesting, now that's a lead. I was throwing my hands years ago for the cause of the crash. Sounds...I'd have to look on metas and animation fragment sounds

Ok, so I tried everything in my hands to fix the mod, but it seems almost impossible with my current level of knowledge. The error is clearly either a sound or a graphics error that triggers during the reload process. The weirdest thing is that if u fast forward the game, it does not crash and the canons keep firing 0 problem, but the second u hit x1 speed and it fires again the game will crash when they begin the next reload process.

If someone can fix this mess, he will have my respects. :cozykcdknight:
