This base is loosely accurate to the very first map of the classic shooter Doom. Looks most appropriate on Mars-like planets, maybe Omicron. There is a good amount of flat space on the roof and on many of the interior ceilings for mounting turrets. Base includes an armor locker (in the room where you'd expect to find armor), fridge, food processor, and an advanced constructor, as well as a couple of medical scanners and scattered storage.

Lower the base by one block (default 'Page Down') before placing, as the whole bottom layer is a concrete foundation meant to sink under the earth. You may have to do some landscaping if you can't find a large enough flat space.
