Vector Lander V2.0

Description
1/4/15 After 2 years of focusing on my stinking job I'm back at the code. Upgraded to version 2.0.
Fixed bugs with X-Box controller thrust.

New features:
Multiple landers.
Larger levels.
Wide screen view.

In the works:
Randomized levels.
Upgrades.
Achievements.
Steam trading cards (not really.)

V1.1 NOW SUPPORTS X-INPUT CONTROLLERS!!!!
XBox Controlls:
Left Stick: Left/Right Rotation
Right Stick: Up for Vertical Thrust
RB/LB: Right & Left Lateral Thrust

Keyboard Controlls:
W: Vertical Thrust
A/D: Rotate Left & Right
Q/E: Lateral Thrust
At any time press Backspace to restart, ESC to exit.

Update 12/1/12: XBox Controller Support.
Update 11/30/12: Colored the terrain on the different levels. Changed the unit of measure on the HUD from pixels to meters per second.
Update 11/29/12: May have fixed the crash when using lateral thrust that was reported by Tehudan, I can't say for sure because I was never able to reproduce the problem. Added a 1 second delay for the lander spawn and randomized the spawn location.
Major Update 11/28/12: Each planet now has its own level design inspired by the terrain of the planet (or moon... whatever.) Changed the restart key to Backspace to prevent the game from restarting when switching to and from Full Sceen. I haven't had the chance to full test the new levels yet. The bugs where you could safely land with most of the lander off of the platform or by crashing into the side of a mountain should be fixed.
Update 11/25/12: Reorganized HUD to display flight data in the center. Atsosphere now affects the friction of the lander. Fuel is reduced on each play through.
Upsate 11/25/12: Added two more levels and increased the limits for a safe landing slightly. The game now loops back to the Moon level after finishing level 6. BTW, the 7000 pt mountain on Io is a volcano, so... watch out for the volcano.
Update 11/20/12: Successfully land five space craft to move on to the next planet. Score is based on the difficulty of the landing site and your remaining fuel. The levels include the Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus.

Thanks for the feed back. I'll check that out. I haven't had time to fully test the game since my last update.

Hi there,

your game looks quite interesting. But there is a problem: Whenever I hold down
the "Q" button for the lateral thrust GameMaker crashes after a while. This may
be a coincidence. But it prevents me from playing the game.
