Era - 1930s / 1960s - NWA

With a career spanning seven decades, Lou Thesz truly earned his Japanese nickname of "Iron Man." He first won gold in 1937 and won his last title in 1978. One of the most accomplished wrestlers in the history of the industry, Thesz innovated and popularized many moves we take for granted today.
