Operation Flashpoint: Single Mission Remakes

Description
A remake of the Operation Flashpoint single mission "AMBUSH", using CUP USMC units.

This one should resonate with some of us old school OFP players. I remember playing this demo mission from a demo disc attached to a PCGAMER mag back in the day, and I lost my mind at how amazing it was.

This was a tough rock to crack. Very hard to get the AI to cooperate and for the mission to flow as it used too back in OFP. But finally, I've got it working to a playable standard.

It's still hard though, you need to pull your weight in the squad and accept the fact the AI can be unpredictable. You'll probably need to revert to a save once or twice.

So please, enjoy this mission as I've put a lot of work, time and effort into making it and getting it to work as it should.

Same story here...when the "Ambush demo" came attached to the same magazine in 2001 (windows 2000). We're getting old lol, great job greetings from Portugal

Yeah most of these missions are a bit broken now from all the updates. Especially the tank and helicopter missions.

My music was on and everything. I think an update may have broken it.

You sure you don't simply have the music turned off? Cause it's 100% there. Or maybe there's been an update that doesn't support the music files anymore in the almost two years it's been up.

In all of the OFP remake missions I click "Play" and nothing happens. Any idea?

KillJoy I am loving these remakes brings back all the memory's from OFP. I don't know if you are up for suggestions but my absolute favourit mission was lost squad. I played that misson so many times it will stay with me forever. I might even dig out my copy of OFP and see if it will run on Win10 ;-) Keep up the great work man.

Very nice mission, although a bit difficult at the end, because of the stupid AI. Thanks for your huge work.
