A collegiate All American at Oklahoma University at both football and wrestling, Steve Williams brought an athletic pedigree to the table when he took up professional wrestling. Dr. Death was an instrumental member of the Varsity Club in the NWA, and formed the Miracle Violence Connection with Terry Gordy in All Japan.

Williams may very well have been one of the strongest wrestlers in his time, or in any.
