Grissom-Class Destroyer

NO MODS, survival ready

Another converted civilian freighter pushed into military service. This destroyer is a repurposed, up-armored bulk freighter that fills the need for a medium warship. Much of its cargo space has been removed and replaced with ammunition storage, weapon systems, and jump drives. Capable of fleet escort service or independent operations.

Though I love the size, shape, performance, and exterior of this ship, I was never happy with a lot of the interior, especially the original cargo bay configuration that I published. It was a crude mixture of conveyors and containers. Today I cleaned it up and reconfigured it significantly! See the added 'amber' picture.

I would love to see it! You'd probably do better with the interior than I did. I made a few engineering decisions early on that greatly restricted the amount of room I had to work with inside.
I might even make a few variations of my own, a few other destroyer classes down the road. There's certainly room for more rebel destroyers!
