Description
Era - 1970s / 1980s - AJPW

One of the most popular wrestlers in the history of Japanese pro wrestling, Giant Baba rose to stardom in the latter days of Rikidozan's JWF. Baba left in 1972 and founded All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he held various NWA titles and dominated the Champion Carnival tournament. Baba's sheer size made him an imposing opponent for most, but also masked his sizable technical skill.
