Okay, you need enough power to fire the guns (lots of generators), you need to set the anti missle guns to point defense and the starter ship isn't a ship - it's a palette - you need to build your own ship because the starter ship has 1 of every block so it's not an actual ship.

What physics updates/second are you using? I set mine to 120 and the weapons works - It's jsut really high velocity...

WELL ITS NOT EVEN JUST THAT sorry for caps.... the guns wont work against the other ships either
the anti missile protection wont work either and i just keep getting pelted by enemy the reds derp the crap out of your starter ship cause weapons wont work

so may i ask why there arnt any starting stations or a station block? i cant seem to make a station for some reason.

the mod wont work i got 30 errors on it and i installed all the needed mods -the errors are the ships themselves pls help

Oh no - Lol accidently swapped them with a MAC gun - Will fix gimme like half an hour

you cannot mirror the wedges in this mod.
