(2V2) Deep Space 49K - v2.0

Description
Located at the edge of the Canal system. This Starbase acts as a buoy for all starship captains to disengage warp engines or non warp bases FTL as beyond lies many plantoids that could end in a fatal disaster.

Best played as a 1v1 map but made it for 2v2 as well because it's always more fun with friends.

Annihilation modes only.

OLD VERSION WOULDN'T UPDATE but won't delete it.

Version 2.0 is a much more competitively balanced map expanding on your suggestions. I will see if it's worth adding 3v3 to it after same more plays on it

Yeah my next one will be, this was just a test concept. I published it for people to see what you can do with world builder. But I get what you mean.

space concept is good. but too roud. should be little bit simple.

Thank you very much. I figured there's got to be a way. I don't understand why the world builder doesn't come with a detailed instruction manual that explains in detail all of the creation/editing tools along with what you just told me. It really annoyed me having multiple versions of my maps building up.

if your new to map making here is how you push updates...
1) browse to your documents /DOW III/ mods folder find and delete the folder that contains the steam number of your map.. ( game creates a copy of your map with folder name as number)
2) once you delete the folder with numbers... re-export the map and start the game
3) publish the map again.. it will update ( do not play the map after you start the game.. this will reload the folder you deleted in step 2 and revert all changes..)
4) after publishing go to your mods folder and delete both local copy and steam folder that it created ( local copy gets overwritten by old version while the new version gets pushed to workshop)
5) Rexport the map ( subscribe to your own map to check if the updates were pushed)

Wish some one told me these when i made my first map... it took me a day to and some digging up of my own :P
