Dominion Races

Description
NOTE: I do not play Starbound very much anymore, so it is unlikely that this mod will receive updates in the future. Please feel free to use, alter, and redistribute the mod's assets. If you use any of them for anything, I would nonetheless love to know!

Requires a Race Extender!

This mod adds the Vorta, Changelings, Jem'Hadar, and the Karemma from Star Trek: Deep Space 9!

Currently Features:
The Vorta:
  • Vented earlobes
  • Over 120 customized hair sprites
  • Custom Tech Equip screen
  • Random name generator
The Changelings/Founders:
  • Clothes are part of their bodies
  • 1 new hair sprite (Odo and the Female Changeling's)
  • Inset eyes
  • Custom Tech Equip screen
  • Invisible "armor" for hiding clothes
The Jem'Hadar:
  • 5 custom spike "hairstyles"
  • A wearable Ketracel-White tube (can be found in Jem'Hadar shiplocker)
  • Random name generator
  • Custom Tech Equip screen
  • Jem'Hadar cosmetic armor (uses Pathfinder Set graphics for now)
The Karemma:
  • 4 hair styles
Tiered Kar'Takin
  • 6 Tiers of Kar'Takin (a Jem'Hadar polearm/spear)
  • Higher-tiers use the previous tier in their recipe (you "upgrade" the original with new materials)
  • Craftable by all members of the Dominion
  • Tiers 4-6 deal poision damage instead of physical (represents the anti-coagulant Jem'Hadar use)
  • 1 secret Kar'Takin
Tiered Polaron Weapons
  • 6 Tiers of Polaron Rifle and Polaron Pistol
  • Custom plasma-type projectile
  • Higher-tiers use the previous tier in their recipe (you "upgrade" the original with new materials)
  • Somewhat rebalanced to be a feasible early- to end-game weapon as you upgrade them.
  • Craftable by all Dominion races.
Other:
  • Dark-purple S.A.I.L. for all Dominion races
  • Tiered "implant" armor shared between all Dominion races
  • Dominion Bookmark Flag
  • Wearable Virtual Display Device (with and without Ketracel-White tube)
  • Every once in a while, Constable Odo will make an apperance at the Outpost
  • Custom dark-purple teleport and mech-deploy animations for all Dominion races

Currently all the races use the Human ship, and probably will continue to do so for the forseeable future due to lore reasons (a Jem'Hadar cruiser parked in the Protectorate wouldn't make much sense)

Planned Features:
  • More Karemma hairstyles

@Choomingia I think you are remembering a completely different mod... Nothing you describe was ever the case. I also haven't updated this mod in almost six years lol

Wow you really changed the Changelings for the worse. They were way better before, where you looked like the liquid form and could shapeshift by wearing the Odo suit. Now they all just look like different colored Odos that cant be naked. Unsubbing.

For some reason having this installed made my game crash on start up, I went through each mod I had one by one until it stopped crashing, reinstalled everything but this one, and did not have a crash then.

But I also had Star Trekkers installed and I see in other comments the content of this mod is going to be added into that, if it has not been already. Some sort of conflict between the two might be the source of the issue, not sure, I really don't know about how these mods work.

odo my man! you got my respect and love for this mod, even though these races arint my style anything showin love to old shcool startrek should be supported, id give you all awards in i had anymore points... hell i will if i get more money to buy moar games. welldone.

This mod is great and shows you have skills
(thats why I asked if you could do the mass effect thing if you have the time after finishing this one).

you know once you finish this you should start on a mass effect all races mod it would be great and I personally ( a mass effect fan) would love it

@puppe Thank you! But when I first made this I was completely unaware that another Star Trek racial mod existed, so I can't assure any compatibility between the two.
