FTL 1 - Boarding the Osprey

this looks like a DIICK

This was an extremely creative use of Door Kicker assets to recreate the Osprey. I applaud the effort. However, I'm not sure that it's that well balanced as a Door Kickers map. Safe doors definitely fit the concept of airlocks and blast doors well, but our troopers don't have laser guns so getting through them is rather tedious. Perhaps just sliding doors is sufficient. Similarly, placing a lot of armoured enemies is really more of an annoyance on this map than a challenge since at this range it's completely trivial to 3-shot them with a pistol. It also doesn't really mesh with the expectations of an FTL themed map. I only expected there to be a handful of enemies spread across the different rooms. Instead I got enemies in almost every room.

Overall a very imaginative and ambitious map with a lot of potential, but also a lot of room for growth and improvement.

this ship is the best in my mind, love the ftl map!
