In 2081, a small indie team named Reflection released a small arcade racing game called Duration. It was widely praised for its innovative mechanics, “Past-Future” visual style, audio design, multiplayer, and ridiculously strong level editor. Its popularity started off small but thanks to the community and tons upon tons of custom maps, the community grew. With the developers continuing to add features, the game was made into the best arcade racing game of all time. Neon City even plays some of the levels old soundtracks at some of their massive parties. It is also the only game allowed to be played during business hours in Achromic City due to the fine business example the company makes. And Helix City... well they just like smashing cars into things... for science of course.
