SGT-1 "Cuirassier"

Hello Besiegers! A new tank upload! This tank is unlike my others, build as a modern tank, with modern features. it has gun stabilization over 2 axis, is faster than any of my older models, and has more than double the cannon power! A tank that suits any of your needs: The Cuirassier.

Cuirassier is french for: "the one with the Cuirass" whereas a Cuirass is a cavalry chestplate. Cuirassiers were armored cavalry units, deployed between the 15 century and the early days of world war 1. These units combined both the speed of cavalry and powerfull equipment to trample their enemies. I chose this name as the tank is fast, agile but also good armored.

This is the first model of maybe more to come "Standaard Gevechts Tank" series. a set of fictional, modern tanks with various equipment and specialties.

- only 353 blocks
- 2 axis self stabilizing turret (uses the same mechanism as this tank made by CCCanyon).
- very stable tracks with a good turning speed
- overall fast tank (measured up to 50 km/h)
- cannon power of 9
- high gun traverse (-15 / +50 degrees)

move tank: [ARROWKEYS]
forward boost: [UP+LEFT+RIGHT]
rotate turret: [TGFH] or [IKJL]*
fire cannon: [C] or [N] or [.]**
activate stabilization: [1] (or use one of the [ARROWKEYS])

CHANGE NOTES

through the development of the 3 SGT tanks I saw that especially this model has the most potential to become the most usefull SGT in the future. with this thought it was necessary to fix the 3 failures of this tank. namely:
1. the tracks are death slow
2. the turret has a lot of overshoot and wiggle when you stop moving
3. the cannon breaks rather easy

this update will fix issue nr 2. and believe you will (if you noticed before) love it! now that it doesnt wiggle anymore (completely damped out) you can really easy pinpoint your target!

Not intentionally a fix for the issues above, but more a necessary fix for the things that have changed due the multiverse update. flipped the needed hinges to make the turret control and the stabilization work again! so now this tank can be used again, have fun in destroying your pesky opponents!

*although I normally use [IKJL] some suggested me to use [TGFH] instead as it is further away from the arrowkeys. thus nice for 2 handed control. but I kept the old control for the ones who are familiar with my controls.
**this specific button is selected from the time I used [WSAD] as turret control, with the standard key [C] to fire. so the position changes together with the new keys. besides that, I kept [C] for the ones who dont read this page and just guess the controls.
