This is a mod that aims to bring the Vatican City into power in the Modern Day mod. Use with other mods at your own risk and let me know of any bugs/improvements.

Features:
• Retake Rome and Italy to elevate your status
• Call a modern day crusade against Islam!
• Create a Holy alliance to overcome any enemies
• Italy didn't go down the Roman Empire focus? You can do it instead
• Rise up and lead Christianity into the new Era... or take a dark path
• Turn the Vatican City into the Utopia it was meant to be or fortify it from prying enemies
• Condemn or accept Islam
• Hold weekly general audiences
• Justify special Holy Wars against Islamic countries
• Rename Istanbul to it's true former name!

I would also recommend the Modern Generals mod if you want some Custom generals for the Vatican Army
