Description
Era - 1960s / 1970s - NJPW / NWA / WWWF

After competing at the 1948 Olympics in Freestyle and Greco for the Belgium team, Karl Gotch started his pro career in England. There, he learned the intricate holds and throws of the Lancaster catch style, adding throws from Judo and punishing Indian style body weight conditioning to his style.

While the hard work made him an imposing competitor, impossibly fluid in the ring, Gotch never made it big in the states, partly due to a locker room beatdown of the then-NWA champ, Buddy Rogers.

While less appreciated in the United States, Gotch finally found his place in Japan, settling in with a nascent New Japan organization, and gaining the admiration of his fellow competitors and the audience. Gotch would train many, including Yoshiaki Fujiwara and Minoru Suzuki, and become a major influence on what would become the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.

As with all my edits, full AI-Moveset-Parameters are set.
