I just made this suggestion solely because the cats lack the ability to subdue their enemies for a killing blow. In reality cats wouldn't bite and claw at prey repeatedly, that much is true. They pin it, cling to the nose or throat, and wait for it to suffocate. Don't have that in Rimworld I'm afraid. So in this case they would claw more than bite.
So in the context of the game, sure, it's better for them to sometimes scratch or even to do it more often; but Dinoman is confusing play/ritual fighting with 'fighting' to kill and when trying to kill something cats bite it.
