Era - 1990s - CMLL / WCW / WAR / NJPW

Billed as the last student of Bruce Lee, Yoshihiro Asai trained in New Japan and found his way in Mexico, successfully blending the Japanese and Mexican approach to pro wrestling in his style. At one point, Ultimo held an impossible eleven titles, defending them around the world.

Later in the decade, Ultimo founded Toryumon, training many students who would become top junior heavies in Japan.
