Ah, yes, the Tachyon eXperimantations first series Wraith type starfighter. The design was created by one of the factions subdued by the Imperium, and so caught the eye of the Grand Lord, that it was integrated into our forces. Deployed from massive carrier vessels, craft like these make up the hardened steel of the fighter swarms we employ to break our foes.

Equipped with a resiliant shield, only concentrated fire will bring down this craft, if you can hit it. While the drive systems are slow to accelarate, they are designed such that tight, last second maneuvers are not only possible, but in some cases prefferable. This is seen to more than make up for the moderate standard armament.

Finally, the craft is designed for operation in atmosphereless gravety wells, and is more than capable of besting other craft in such an enviornment. If it can't shoot it down, it can probably make it run into a cliff.
