I would still let Stardock know whats going on. Sounds like a bug.

So, I deleted "Rebel Alliance (New Republic)" civilization from within the game, closed game, unsubbed and resubbed to this.

It gave me the same error but this time for your "Galactic Empire". I did the same for GE.

Now It gave me the same error for RA NR again. lol

I have no idea what is going on :)

I will try removing and unsubbing from all those and re-download everything.

Uncheck Enable mods in the Game Options from the main menu might do something too. Also make sure you have the Rebels shipset too. If any changes were saved, it will clash. To check this, find the rebels in your Civs and go to edit Civ. Go down to the ships and check to see if the ships are the shipset ships or a bunch of random ships. If random find the rebel shipset and resubscribe, then resync then restart.

Wait .. I do have a couple of custom civilizations that I threw together (names, portraits, flavor text, and ship design). I did them a while ago before starting a new galaxy. They were part of the default offerings though. I will scrap and rebuild them. Maybe one of them ended up using one of your old ship models? Could that Civ be using a ship model of yours that got updated? Don't know if I understand the issue correctly lol

It is not a bug as such but just as annoying. The game will do this if you have saved a Civilisation and you then update a ship or add something to it after. I have posted to tech support here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/app/226860/discussions/4/1744479063999577166/ but it has been unanswered.

Yours sounds more like Retribution is not recognizing it, so I believe it is a bug. You will have to send a message to tech support, they will most likely want to look at some files to see whats going on and probably curse my name for making more work for them.

Omnibus,

Sorry but I forgot to say that I also did a file verification, just as you described.
I have never done anything with the editor before, so that cannot be it.

I have subbed to like 4-5 of your full collections (500 items or so), but this is the only one that is giving me an issue. And this only happened after I got Intrigue and Retribution, so everything was fine prior to that.

Am I the only one with this issue? hmm

I am going to remake both Empire and Rebels, add Citizen pics, Star bases and all cargo ships, as well as update several ships and will build a massive Starwars Galaxy map. Although I want to do this after 40k and the Krell are finished. See what Stardock say, and if not fixed I am have to start a remake sooner. Please let me know how it goes. Thanks

If you added anything to the Civ in the editor I would remove it. Then Click on the resync in game again, exit and verify your game. To verify, find Galciv in your game library, right click on it, go to properties at the bottom and click on Local Files Tab and click on Verify integrity. It will take a few minutes. Once it finished updating anything, Restart your computer and then load game once more. If it still comes up I would report it to Stardock Also remove any saved games that might have any changes. Steam will update changes back in at the best of times. Please let me know how you go.
