Eugenics Mod

Description
This mod allows you to have more control over the genetics of your dynasty. In the base game, most traits do not have an increased chance of being passed down if both parents have the trait; this mod "fixes" that.

Updated to version 1.3 for Holy Fury.

Doesn't work with achievements since it changes the checksum.


I did test it to make sure things were working, but I'm just assuming paradox's math is okay since it's difficult to run like 1000+ children for ideal tests.

I had something strange happen. I had 2 courtiers with genius marry and I granted them a title. Some years later I checked in on them and they had 7 kids, all with the "quick" trait, not a single genius child. Just think something might off in this mods calculations for child traits in other courts besides your own. Perhaps something that happens randomly, most families I put together like this have random traits. This one was just... weird.

That improved genetics mod is actually kinda bad. Gonna try this and hopefully will be less garbage characters/children in the game.

Come back and combine this mod with improved genetics and continue it. OP of that is gone. ''Huge fan of genetics and EpiGenetics. Want to breed a long family line of strong genes and traits I want like Left Handed and Tall. You should also make this take stats into account. Where 2 high stat parents will pass on those high stats from birth and better stat gains for their high stat skills. Make it so it counts base stats as full. But only half or 1/4 bonus from bonus stats. Please do it.

So, to be clear.

If one or both parents are geniuses... there's a chance their children might pick the trait up too.

It doesn't do what the other genetics mod does, right? (I found that kind of ridiculous - the guy overthought it all based on one fact about genetics he found out lol)

Yes I think it just adds new txts with traits, couldn't find those files using search in mod folder (they are all extracted).

If Dark World doesn't change traits_00 or traits_02 then yes.

Is your mod compatible with Improved Genetics 2.0? Can I use both of them at once? Maybe someone already checked
