CoinDesk shut down their free API, so this addon now uses a configured Bitcoin value. If you had this addon installed on your server prior to February 15, 2025, you will need to delete the config file at data/sweptthrone_addons/stbitminers.txt to let the addon generate a new file with the Bitcoin value field. If you made changes to your config file, you can back it up and replace the values in the new file, but you still need to let the addon generate a new config file.

Need a BitMiner addon that's completely and absolutely free? Then STBitMiners is for you!

STBitMiners is a moderately challenging and kinda fun way to make money on your DarkRP server. To get Bitcoins, you'll need a computer to use as a dedicated BitMiner. You must build this yourself with the parts provided. Then you must connect a monitor, and you can start mining!

This addon produces Bitcoins that give you a configurable amount of money per coin. It previously used the real-time value of Bitcoin but since the API I used went offline, it no longer does this.

I made this because I initially made the constructable computer, and wanted to do something more with it. Also I dislike paid addons, so I thought I'd make some of the community happy. I will never take any money for my work.

You can spawn all of the parts and monitor in any gamemode, but only DarkRP supports actual BitMining.

Note that this addon may not work perfectly, as there are a lot of things I'm thinking of right now that could go wrong. If anything goes wrong, that means script errors, incorrect calculations, or anything else, leave it in a comment below.
