CM Punk's high water mark for his WWE tenure likely came in June of 2011, where he cut a "pipebomb" of a promo, attacking management and proceeding to win the WWE championship in a few weeks. From there, however, Punk entered into a series of feuds with HHH and Kevin Nash that dragged his momentum down. While he remained a top contender on the cards, Punk decided that he wanted to pursue another route in life and left the company to compete in mixed martial arts.
