Description
Era - 1990s - UWF / Fujiwara Gumi

Although he started off in New Japan as a regular in the Junior Heavyweight divsion, Masakatsu Funaki didn't truly arrive until he signed with Akira Maeda's UWF. Finally able to showcase his sublime grappling ability, Funaki reguarly battled the likes of Maeda, Nobuhiko Takada and Yoji Anjo. He also spent time in Pro Wrestling Fujiwara Gumi, continuing the evolution of shoot style pro wrestling, before eventually founding the pioneering MMA organization Pancrase.

As with all my edits, full AI-Moveset-Parameters are set.

Is the standing <-> + O a punch and not a palm strike on purpose, or was it an error?

Hey thanks for the reply, it is much appreciated, but I'm here to tell you that I really do think it's impossible. Now anybody can tap out anyone else regardless of ref, skills or parameters but for pinning I have tested it with many guys and some wrestlers cannot be pinned by others it seems, no matter how many moves are done or how much time is set on the clock or anything. If you're up for a challenge I can upload 2 guys and you can download them and see if you are able to get the 1,2,3 because I'm very sure you won't be able too.

No problem, I'd say that it's not impossible, just tougher. Several factors come into play. First, Hardbody makes it very difficult to get a pin without demolishing the opponent, and/or using a signature or finisher move to get the pin. A slow ref means that if you're anywhere south of the midway point in the ring, the ref's not going to start counting in time. I'd still not say that it's impossible, but much less likely. I've seen jobbers pin wrestlers who had hardbody and a good hundred edit points on them, but again, it's not something that happens very often. Hope that helps a bit.

And to bring things back around to the edit at hand, if you use/sim Funaki, he'll be happy to tap an opponent out anywhere in the ring even with a slow ref!

Hey Senator, sorry to high jack this edit with my totally unrelated question but I need to ask someone who can give me an answer, as I have tried to get one in discussions and came up with nothing. So I've seen since the gameboy additions the combined elements of Hardbody and a slow ref like Joe Higuchi make it so that some edits cannot get a pinfall victory on some other edits no matter what... can you tell me anything about this?
