1967 BMC Genoa

Description
A very retro and very low-slung mid-engined RWD supercar.

The Genoa was BMC's first attempt to become relevant in the exotic car market, a place that was dominated by big manufacturers such as LP or Laufenicht.

Behind the driver's seat is a high-output 3.5 liter fuel-injected V8; power is delivered by a "4-on-the-floor" fashion 4-speed manual transmission.

An optional extra was a removable T-top- you can do that by removing the pieces shown on the second to last slide. The front details bore a striking resemblance to the last car of a different unnamed manufacturer.

Due to overheating issues in the 1966 model year, large intakes behind the side windows were added, giving it a more 'racey' look. Louvers were fashioned in order to accomodate the larger rear window space.

The Genoa would see production until the beginning of 1969, when BMC decided to stop making them early due to poor sales. The Genoa was poorly received, as the people who could afford to buy one new were just not interested in American supercars- they much prefered to buy European.

Later in its life, the Genoa became more desirable due to its looks.

Have fun! Avoid speedbumps.

Add a 2000 BMC Knockoff Version of the Geneoa and maybe a 1967 version of the Armoured Van
