Description
The Bishop Lander is the 15th Capital Vessel in the Nexus Space Industries Line to be put into service under NSI.

The lander as it says in it's name was designed as a ship to land on the surface with HV insides. After the NSI made a "couple" off non landable ships we wanted some new HV transport ships that are small and easy/fast to make.

The ship is really small but has room for a couple small HV's or 1 bigger one.

Inside is a small medbay, a couple off fuel tanks and O2 tanks. Also an armor locker, repair station and 2 cargo boxes. The ship also has some flak turrets and ammo boxes. For defense offcourse.

This ship is made as an early in-game play to just get off the planet, got to other planets to get the rare resources.

Hope you enjoy it,
If you like the ship sub, share, rate or whatever.

Hey Conjurer, i already did. posted it couple months ago. i did some modifications while using it in survival but can't remember if it is that version or just the first rework. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2274259864

Hey Jarvis, have you considered doing a rework on this ship? Maybe up the amount of thrusters? Add a shield ect? I know it's an old ship but it is amazing, such a cool design, and amazing for a single player to coop game. Or even leaving this one along and making a mid-late game version? Just food for thought.

@Thundecraft, i have updated the screenshots.

Would you please consider updating the last image with the stats and the material costs to Alpha 9 figures? Or, at the least, could you include the Alpha 9 resource costs in the description?

I know for a fact that resource costs have changed drastically in Alpha 9, especially since Nanotubes and all the devices that use them now use Carbon Composite instead of Iron. And "Plastic Raw Material" no longer exists in the game (by that name).

not a big deal but although it has a warp drive you seem to forgot to put a warp tank
and sometimes for some reason i couldnt walk up the stairs to the brigde if i landed in some planets other than these 2 tings its pretty cool starter CV

Fixed it, by adding 1 little thing and changing some other things.

i placed an extra landinggear in the back, and i place 4 thursters pointing up in the front and removed 2 in the back

Okay, there is a minor issue with this CV. Land it and turn the power off and...
it kinda sits up on it's ass and the ramp at the front ends up nowhere near the ground. Even the front landing gear is about 4 metres off the ground. I played around in creative a little and it seems to be a centre of mass issue (I haven't done a lot of this so its very possible I'm wrong).. I also observed that when you had it on the ground if you held the "c" button down to keep the down thrusters going the front end slowly started lifting up. Bottom line, too much of the weight, especially from the thrusters is in the back half of the CV.
I tried flying around and landing in a variety of places and couldn't get it to sit level.

A Capital Vessel that makes sense for early Single Player games!
There are a lot of well executed and outright beautiful designs in the workshop, but so many include requirements for Zascozium and Erestrum in amounts you just don't get on Akua. The Bishop gives me a decent way to get to Omicron.
Thank you Jarvis
