The Scorpion hover tank is among the most comon surface invasion craft in the Imperium, units of which can break through most defensive positions with relative ease. Made entirely of heavy armor, and possesing a capable shield grid, most conventional opponets are unable to bring it down quickly enough to prevent it from destroying them with its 300mm gun.

Additionally, there are few terrains this craft cannot deal with, as it does not rely on clumsy wheel systems for mobility. The stabalizer systems can be confused at high altitude, however, so cliffs can provide a bit of a challenge.

While the Scorpion is designed to only operate in atmosphere, we do not consider this a detriment, as such small planetoids are usually barren, and not worth more effort than a thorough barrage.
