Tack Shooter

Description
its a Tack shooter!

really low damage but lots of ammo, just be carefull to not step on those later!
and dont expect it to be precise either, the loading mechanism is made of second-hand materials, so it usualy ends shooting 2 tacks.

PS:gun made for endless, will not shine at its best on adventure.

will this get stupid in storm? probably, considering you can go for as long as you want in a level in storm

I used to have the weird pixel problem but realized rescaling by percentage prevents that.

If your sprite is already 1x scale, it's easy, just increase by 200% or 300% or whatever.

To go from 2x to 3x scale, increase size by 75%.

Maybe some image editors just have issues resizing

@MechaTails yeah i just noticed that the size was small when i got in game.
and i was not in the mood to re-scale it (as some pixels get weird and need to be fixed) so i left as it was. will re-scale it later, but its not om the top of my priority list now :)

Just tried it out in Adventure-

•It kills almost as fast as the Machine Gun when you're in an enemy's face, but it's much better for spraying a group of enemies. But they die slow, of course, def better to upgrade this gun a few times in Endless. With DoT it would be worth using right away for a less aggressive playstyle.

•Screenshake was okay.

•Accuracy was okay while aiming (10 acc) at a mob, most of the bullets tended to hit something so it didn't feel like I was wasting too much ammo.

•I think the model is too small, maybe bump it up another scale. It would also help us appreciate the sprite more.

@Blue Wolf its kinda easy to fix that actualy.
if they let us do actual modding and not only messing with config files you could set a check to see if the enemy is taking DoT, if he s, than the time of the DoT would be reset to maximum time.
so esentialy you would permit only 1 DoT happen per enemy, but for a unlimited time as far as the enemy is getting hit.

DoT sounds good too, it's as if they bleed from the tack lol

Yeah, I don't know what kind of modding options the dev will be adding, if any, so simpler implementation is better I guess.

Yeah however if it's deals 1 damage over X amount of time then this shows how op that would be
(X * amount of bullets shot into target = damage over X amount of time)

@BlueAetherium i know, but on thecnical side, its way easier to make an enemy take DoT after being hit than make an object that can cause damage on touch show up after he being hit.

i like the ideia too, but as someone who knows how hard is to implement new concepts in a program, i would go with a way easier to implement concept :)

@blue Wolf you get it ;P
but even without it,i think that if you level it to 5 you can get a really good damage too
