I think it has something to do with the fact that also in the main base i've had dust devils, though not as many as now in the biome...
I mean... having the canyons next to the base and all... ;)
Regular and arctic (each 1 time seen)
On the 'upper circle level' its around 42°F at noon.. around 24-35'ish between 9pm and 10am...
Around 35° at noon on the roof - incl freezing debuff! :p

Arctic Miru
I just placed some 'try grass' blocks at borders of sand/rocky and rocky/'exit'.
I want to get one of those mice with a fire-tail ;)
Fun fact:
During the 'pool' build, i had to remove like half the corrals i was using later for the roof.
I placed no shell or grass (but like 3 'blocks' of tallgrass/weeds) until i've seen that stuff grew by itself.
Still searching for autumwood saplings... 1800 leaves and none so far...
