Multi-biome Base

Enjoy scenic grassland, forest, jungle, and canyonland views, built on a circular peakstone base. Tunnels below the landscape give plenty of room for workshops, storage, and housing. Fits into one claim (63x62x20).

Spawns many creatures! So far I have seen Pigsy, Feral Pigsy, Twiggy, Leafi, Night Leafi, Mossi Leafi, Pebble, Rockster, Night Rockster, Trog, Rambeau, Arctic Miru, and (one time) a Keepa. (Plus, the shorter cactus keeps spawning extra cactus flowers.)

Caveat for the hard-core monster hunters: this base was originally built to look good, not for guaranteed creature spawns. I cannot confirm any creatures will show up beyond those listed. I also have not built this anywhere but the original Canyon/Ocean site, so in different temperatures/elevations/base biomes, your results will vary.

Build Notes

This blueprint uses 9400 blocks of 55 different types, which includes one seashell that snuck in by accident. (I cleaned them up, but one spawned on the sand while I was making the blueprint. You may not need to collect Coral ahead of time. Coral spawned on the Mud for me, I got lots when laying out the stream and the pond.) You'll need 2,000+ Peakstone, 1,700+ Stone, and 385 Limestone Wall to build the shell. Teleporter locations in the pavilion are marked with blue tile.

This build doesn't use any blocks from the store, only blocks from the base game are included. (I bet some of the industrial lights would look really good down in the tunnels, though.)

As I was kindly reminded by AvilerEd in the forum, you can make Fallen Leaves and Rimecones for under the trees by placing Autumnwood Leaves (any color) and Elderwood Leaves and then plowing them. Those details don't show in the blueprint, but do make the forest area look a lot nicer.

Auto-fill with liquids - Crystal points out in her Swamp Bubble Biome comments that "auto-fill doesn't work right with liquids. If you place a liquid next to other, already placed, liquids, the auto-fill will also drop liquid on the previously filled areas. This is a huge waste of liquid, which isn't cheap in terms of cells. I'd suggest turning auto-fill off in the options and filling one by one." This will affect your Multi-biome Base as well. (Thank you, Crystal, for permission to add this note.)

Installation Notes

The cornerstone is off of the side next to the teleporter pavilion. The cornerstone is connected to the peakstone base with six blocks of wood, but that wood is only there to get the build hints to show up from the cornerstone. The wood should be removed once the build is complete.

The whole build is 63 blocks wide and 62 blocks deep. (The base is 62x62, but one of the Autumnwood trees sticks out over the side.) There are 20 blocks from the base to the treetops. It will fit inside a claim if you place the cornerstone right inside the claim boundary. The cornerstone is level with the bottom of the construct.
