Era - Current - WWE NXT

The man formerly known as KENTA came to the United States as a high value free agent, signing with WWE's NXT brand. His career in NXT started off well, but a series of injuries derailed his momentum on multiple occasions. Itami may well have lost the top end of his athleticism, but has also gained some crafty veteran moves to make up for it. He still has a brutal set of kicks, stomps and knee strikes, most notably, the finisher he originated, the Go 2 Sleep.
